On the 31st of March at 19:30 we are holding a commissioning service for our four new volunteers.

(major apologise to those unable to make this date)

This will be held in Chard Methodist Church . There will of course be light refreshments after the service.

This evening will also be a birthday celebration as we will have been on patrol in Chard for just over a year, as such we are having a BBQ in the forecourt of the Methodist church from 21:30 which is also open to everyone who would like to come along.

The purpose of this is also a chance for us to say THANK YOU to Chard town for welcoming us so warmly into the Saturday night time economy.

I must repeat that EVERYONE is welcome to come to both or either event.

Lent Groups are organised by Chard Churches Together

Handing on the Torch

5 sessions over 5 weeks starting on February 27th.

1 A Christian country?

2 A Secular Society?

3 A Beleagured church?

4 Competing creeds?

5 Handing on the torch?

These sessions are very worthwhile and enjoyable, a chance to meet with other Christians in the Town for in depth discussions & also making new friends.

Groups will be meeting on Monday Evenings at 7.30 and on various

days and times during the day.

The series concludes with a Lent Group Supper on a Saturday evening.
