Becky is going to Uganda in January to teach in a village school for six weeks. This is voluntary and she has to raise a minimum of £2,000. As part of her fund raising I am doing a sponsored slim between now and November. If you would like to sponsor me please speak to Becky or myself. Thanks - Meurig. Prayer Team meeting 8 September 7:30pm Welcome Bap. If you are interested in serving the Church on the prayer team please come along. Welcome Bap committee meeting Monday 13 Sep 1:15pm in the Bap At the church meeting in July, it was agreed that we would as a Church attend the forthcoming "Crossing Places" event, due to be held at Wellington Baptist Church on Saturday October 2nd 2010. This event is facilitated by The BU and will include speakers from The London Institute for Contemporary Christianity as well as "our own" Kathryn Morgan and Ian Bunce from the BU. The day promises to inspire us all to "make a difference wherever we are" in our local communities. Cost for the day is £5, but if any body would like to go, and is unable to afford the cost, please still plan to attend. We consider this such an important event, that we have decided to allocate funds and time towards enabling as many to attend as possible. So book the date in your diary now, and let Allan Blake know of your intention to attend asap. Any who feel they would like to contribute more than £5 to the "attendance fund" should also let Allan know."
