Child Sponsorship Programme.
The Philippine Community Fund’s child sponsorship programme is
facing a heartbreaking crisis.
Unless they can find sponsors for the remaining 152 children
currently not sponsored in their school they will have to leave in
April and return to their former life of sieving through rubbish to live.
They desperately need to find sponsors for 152 amazing boys and
girls by the end of April.
Could you consider doing this ?

What do you do with your used postage stamps when you get a letter?
Do they go in the rubbish bin? If so, you are throwing away money
as someone somewhere would like those stamps.
For many years C.B.C. has been supporting the “Used Postage Stamp Scheme”
run by Mr. Alan Cookson, Aylesbury, Bucks who sells the stamps to a dealer
giving the money raised to the Home Mission Fund.
Last year 2010 £4,453.78 was raised;
so far this year £5,178.55 has been raised;
the stamps coming from many areas.
Please continue saving all stamps leaving ½inch of the envelope
surrounding the stamp so as not to damage the perforations.
Place them in the red box .(outside the Church Hall or in the Welcome Bap).
Many thank to all who support the scheme
