One date for your diaries is the walking nativity, organised by Chard Churches Together. Follow that Star! will be held in Chard on the afternoon of 16th December. The procession will begin at the Guildhall at 2pm.
The event will include carol singing, dressing up, Chard brass band and yes, even some donkeys. All this and more, so it will be a fun event for all ages.

followed by lunch at 12noon.

Monthly church lunches are back! They will generally be held on the second Sunday of each month.
Dates for your diaries: Sun 9 Sept, Sun 14 Oct, Sun 11 Nov and Sun 9 Dec.
These lunches will be ‘bring and share’, so bring something to contribute, such as a plate of sandwiches, a salad, a quiche, a cake, a trifle … etc.
This is a fantastic opportunity for us to spend time together as a church family, in a relaxed setting, so don’t miss out!
Our next prayer space takes place during the morning of Saturday 4th August.
Doors will open at 10am.

Chard Summer Festival and Party in the Park will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July. From 9am Saturday morning there will be a street market along Holyrood Street.
Chard Churches Together have organised children's activities around the story of the lost sheep... and will include a real live sheep!
From 6pm there will be live music and other activities. The beacon will be lit at the end of the evening.

There is now a defibrillator installed on the Chard Baptist Church forecourt, donated by the Rotary Club.
