Worship leaders’ day (Kilmington, 12th May)

There will be worship leaders' day on Saturday 12th May, 10am – 3pm at Kilmington Baptist. Tim Parkman from Saltash Baptist is running the day, which should be a great time of training and insight for all those involved in worship or leading within the church. Faith and Film: Silence

On Sunday 6th May, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, we will be watching "Silence". This is a film directed by Martin Scorsese, based upon Shusaku Endo's novel of the same name. Two Jesuit priests travel to Japan to locate their missing mentor. It is a film about the struggles of faith and the reality and effects of persecution. Join us as we watch the film and then discuss some of the themes raised.

Whitley Lecture, April 28th 2018

The 2018 Whitley Lecture is given by Helen Paynter and hosted by the South West Baptist Association in Wonford, Exeter, and is entitled: Dead and Buried? Attending to the voices of the victim in the Old Testament and today. Sharing Hope in Crisis training at Kilmington BC (3rd March)

There will be a Sharing Hope in Crisis training day on Saturday March 3rd 2018 at The Baptist Church, Kilmington. Coffee/tea from 9.00, training starts at 9.30 with a target finish of 4.30. The church will provide refreshments and a light lunch for a suggested donation of £4 per person. The seminar is free of charge but there will be opportunity to donate on the day to the ministry. Prayer Space: hope in hard places

Our next Prayer Space is on Tuesday 20th February and looks at the theme of finding hope in difficult times. It will provide a non-threatening space where people can pray for difficult situations in their lives or the lives of others, where spring seems a long time coming. Come and use this space to pray for hope and for healing. Doors will be open from 7pm and there will be a short word of prayer from the front at 7.30pm.
