Chard Summer Festival 2018
Chard Summer Festival and Party in the Park will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July. From 9am Saturday morning there will be a street market along Holyrood Street.
Chard Churches Together have organised children's activities around the story of the lost sheep... and will include a real live sheep!
From 6pm there will be live music and other activities. The beacon will be lit at the end of the evening.

Saturday 16th December is a good time to pop over to Chard Baptist Church...
there'll be Messy Christmas in the main church building,
mince pies on the forecourt
and a Christmas fayre in the hall.

Holiday Club 2016
The theme of the Chard Churches Together Holiday Club for 2016 is “On Your Marks!”
Monday 25th July - Friday 29th July
9.15am - 1.00pm
St Mary's Church, Chard.
Online registration is closed but you can still register 'on the day'.
The club is for primary school aged children (reception to year 6). This year there is also a separate pre-school children and parent/guardian session for an hour each morning (9.30-10.30am).

Theme: Unity in Community.
Parachute games, three-legged races, heart trees and heart hangers, people bingo and lots more crafts.
All this followed by celebration and tea.

Messy Church: Jesus heals Bartimaeus
Our next Messy Church will be on 12th March from 4pm - 6pm.
Our theme is Jesus Heals Bartimaeus.
Come and make some crazy glasses, weave the centre of a flower, make bottle top bugs, do a blindfold obstacle course, make Mother's Day cards - lots of fun and celebration.
All this is followed by tea.
