Pentecost Picnic

Chard Churches Together Pentecost Praise (short service held near the chapel entrance) and Picnic at Forde Abbey, on Sunday 15th May 2016 at 5pm. There will be informal worship, games, picnic (bring your own) and a chance to enjoy the lovely gardens at Forde Abbey. With grateful thanks to Alice and Julian Kennard for their kind permission to use Forde Abbey for this event. Admission Free.

Women’s World Day of Prayer 2016

On Friday 4th March, churches around the world will be celebrating the Women's World Day of Prayer. There will be about 5,600 services taking place in the United Kingdom, attended by both women and men. This year's service is written by the Christian women of Cuba and is entitled Receive children. Receive me.  CBC is hosting a Chard Churches Together ecumenical service at 7pm. There is also an earlier service at 2.30pm at Combe St. Nicholas Methodist Church.

Chard Street Pastors AGM

You are invited to the Chard Street Pastors AGM on Tuesday 21st April at Chard Baptist Church. We will be starting at 6.45pm with soup and pudding; then at 7.30pm we will hold our AGM reflecting upon the last year in the life of Street Pastors.
